Rollup is available to all members of Sherfield Oaks GC we play every Monday & Thursday except on the occasions when Club Competitions are scheduled
Sherfield Oaks Golf Club (SOGC) – Rollup Competitions
Format: Usually singles stableford, but Monthly fun rollups us various formats
Qualifying Stableford (counts for handicap purposes)
Held on Monday & Thursday mornings (year-round)
Administration:
Managed by the Rollup Committee (separate from the main club competitions committee)
Not part of official SOGC club competitions (which are run by the SOGC Competitions Committee)

Open to all Sherfield Oaks Golf Club members

Rollup dates are listed on Golf Genius
Players must enter via Golf Genius at least 3 days prior to the event. (You can still enter after this time but will not have a tee block choice.
Key Notes:
Since these are qualifying Stablefords, scores will be submitted to WHS (World Handicap System).
May have slight differences in rules/prizes compared to formal club competitions.
How to sign up
A Clear Guide to Entering and Playing in the Rollup
Follow these steps to ensure you are correctly entered and your score counts.
1. Sign Up in Advance
How: Use the Golf Genius app to register for the specific day's rollup.
Tee Time: During sign-up, you can state your preference for an Early, Middle, or Late tee time.
Deadline: The draw closes 2-3 days before the rollup. Sign up before this deadline to secure your preferred time.
2. If You Miss the Sign-Up Deadline
You can still enter by contacting the admin team directly.
Please note that your preferred tee time slot may no longer be available.
3. On the Day of the Rollup
Tee Times: The rollup runs between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. The exact schedule is adjusted based on the number of sign-ups.
Sweepstake Payment: Place a £3 cash payment in the provided box.
4. After Your Game
Verify Your Score: Check your gross score with your marker to ensure it is correct.
Enter Score in the touchscreen :
Submit Card: Leave your signed scorecard in the same box as the cash payments.
5. Results and Prizes
Scoring: Results are transferred to the Handicap Master (Master Scoreboard) system, which calculates the winners using the specific rollup handicap.
Prizes: The entire entry fund is paid out as prizes (after a 5% admin fee).
Payouts: Typically, the top 3 in each division win prizes, plus prizes for Nearest the Pin (NTPs). The number of paid places may be adjusted depending on the number of entrants.

Viewing Results and Rollup Handicaps
Two-Stage Process:
Results are initially recorded in Golf Genius.
They are then transferred to the Master Scoreboard (MSB) system for final calculation using your rollup handicap.
Important: Rollup handicaps are calculated on a different system from the official WHS. See the "Rollup HC" page for details.
How to Log In to Master Scoreboard (MSB)
Go to the Rollup MSB site: https://www.masterscoreboard.co.uk/SocietyIndex.php?CWID=107550
Select your name from the list.
First-time users: Use the default password: longrough
The system will then prompt you to create your own personal password.
